Hellenic Basketball Federation
The Hellenic Basketball Federation (EOK) is the governing body for basketball in Greece. Established in 1927, it oversees the organization and promotion of basketball at all levels, including amateur and professional leagues. The federation is responsible for the national teams, including the men's and women's squads, and manages the rules and regulations of the sport within the country.
EOK also plays a crucial role in developing basketball programs, coaching, and officiating standards. It collaborates with international organizations, such as FIBA, to ensure that Greek basketball adheres to global standards and participates in international competitions, fostering the growth of the sport nationwide.
