Heat pumps
A heat pump is a device that transfers heat from one place to another, using a small amount of energy. It can both heat and cool spaces by moving heat indoors during winter and outdoors during summer. This makes heat pumps an efficient alternative to traditional heating and cooling systems.
Heat pumps work by circulating a refrigerant through a cycle of evaporation and condensation. In the heating mode, the refrigerant absorbs heat from the outside air or ground, even in cold temperatures, and releases it indoors. In cooling mode, the process is reversed, providing a comfortable indoor environment.
