Heads of State
Heads of State are the highest-ranking officials in a country, often representing the nation in ceremonial roles and diplomatic matters. They may be a monarch, like a king or queen, or an elected leader, such as a president. Their responsibilities can include signing laws, meeting with foreign leaders, and addressing the public on important issues.
In many countries, the Head of State works alongside a government, which is responsible for day-to-day operations. For example, in the United States, the President serves as both the Head of State and the Head of Government, while in the United Kingdom, the monarch is the Head of State, and the Prime Minister is the Head of Government.
