Hawthorne Heights
Hawthorne Heights is an American rock band formed in 2001 in Dayton, Ohio. They are known for their blend of post-hardcore and emo music, characterized by emotional lyrics and melodic guitar riffs. The band gained popularity with their debut album, The Silence in Black and White, released in 2004, which included hits like "Ohio Is for Lovers."
The band's lineup originally included JT Woodruff, Micah Carli, Matt Ridenour, and Evan McKeever. Over the years, they have released several albums and faced challenges, including the tragic death of their guitarist, Casey Calvert, in 2007. Despite this, Hawthorne Heights continues to tour and create music.
