Hauts-De-France
Hauts-de-France is a region located in the northern part of France. It was created in 2016 by merging the former regions of Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Picardy. The region is known for its rich history, diverse landscapes, and vibrant cities, including Lille, which is the capital.
The area is characterized by its industrial heritage, particularly in coal mining and textiles. Hauts-de-France also features beautiful natural parks, such as Avesnois and Marais Audomarois, and is home to several historical sites, including the Battlefields of the Somme, which commemorate World War I.
