Harry Chapin
Harry Chapin was an American singer-songwriter born on December 7, 1942, in New York City. He is best known for his storytelling style of music, with popular songs like “Cat's in the Cradle” and “Taxi.” Chapin's work often focused on social issues, and he used his platform to raise awareness about hunger and poverty.
In addition to his music career, Chapin was a dedicated humanitarian. He co-founded the organization World Hunger Year in 1975, which aimed to combat hunger and promote social justice.
