Harrison Lake
Harrison Lake is a large freshwater lake located in the Fraser Valley region of British Columbia, Canada. It is approximately 60 kilometers (37 miles) east of Vancouver and is known for its stunning natural beauty, surrounded by mountains and forests. The lake covers an area of about 20 square kilometers (7.7 square miles) and is a popular destination for outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, and hiking.
The lake is fed by the Harrison River, which flows into the Fraser River. The area around Harrison Lake is home to the small community of Harrison Hot Springs, famous for its natural hot springs and resort facilities. The lake and its surroundings are also part of the traditional territory of the Sts'ailes First Nation, who have lived in the region for thousands of years.
