Hard-Shell Turtle
The Hard-Shell Turtle, also known as a tortoise, is a type of reptile characterized by its protective shell. This shell is made of two parts: the upper part called the carapace and the lower part known as the plastron. Hard-shell turtles are primarily land-dwelling creatures, and they are known for their slow movement and long lifespan.
These turtles are herbivorous, feeding mainly on grasses, leaves, and fruits. They are found in various habitats, including deserts and forests. Unlike aquatic turtles, hard-shell turtles do not have webbed feet; instead, they have sturdy, column-like legs that help them navigate on land.
