Happy Mondays
Happy Mondays is a British band formed in 1980 in Salford, England. They are known for their unique blend of alternative rock and dance music, which helped define the Madchester music scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The band's most famous lineup included lead singer Shaun Ryder and his brother, guitarist Paul Ryder.
Their debut album, "Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out)," was released in 1987, but it was their second album, "Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches," that brought them mainstream success. The band is recognized for hits like "Step On" and "Kinky Afro," which showcase their infectious grooves and catchy lyrics.
