Hangul Characters
Hangul characters are the writing system used for the Korean language. Created in the 15th century by King Sejong the Great, Hangul was designed to be easy to learn and use. The system consists of 14 basic consonants and 10 basic vowels, which can be combined to form syllables.
Each Hangul character is made up of a block that represents a syllable, typically containing a consonant followed by a vowel. This unique structure allows for efficient reading and writing, making Hangul one of the most accessible writing systems in the world.
