Hand Bones
The human hand contains 27 bones, which are categorized into three groups: the carpals, metacarpals, and phalanges. The eight carpal bones form the wrist, allowing for flexibility and movement. The five metacarpal bones make up the middle part of the hand, connecting the wrist to the fingers.
Each finger consists of three phalanges, except for the thumb, which has two. These bones work together to provide structure and support, enabling various functions such as gripping, holding, and manipulating objects. The intricate arrangement of hand bones contributes to the hand's dexterity and strength.
