Halestorm is an American rock band formed in 1997 in Red Lion, Pennsylvania. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale, her brother and drummer Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger, and bassist Josh Smith. They are known for their powerful sound, blending hard rock and metal elements. The band gained widespread recognition with their self-titled debut album released in 2009, which included the hit single "I Miss the Misery". Halestorm has received several awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance in 2013 for their song "Love Bites (So Do I)".
