Halaal
Halaal is an Arabic term meaning "permissible" or "lawful" in Islam. It refers to what is allowed according to Islamic law, particularly in relation to food and drink. For meat to be considered halaal, it must come from an animal that has been slaughtered according to specific guidelines, including invoking the name of Allah during the process.
In addition to food, halaal also applies to other aspects of life, such as cosmetics and financial transactions. Products labeled as halaal must meet certain criteria to ensure they comply with Islamic teachings, making them suitable for Muslims to use and consume.
