Hair Transplant
A hair transplant is a surgical procedure that involves moving hair follicles from one part of the body, usually the back of the scalp, to areas experiencing hair loss. This technique is commonly used to treat conditions like androgenetic alopecia, also known as male or female pattern baldness. The goal is to restore hair growth in thinning or balding areas.
There are two main methods of hair transplantation: FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) and FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction). In FUT, a strip of skin with hair is removed and divided into grafts, while FUE involves extracting individual hair follicles directly. Both methods aim to achieve a natural-looking hairline and improve overall appearance.
