Haguro
Haguro is one of the three sacred mountains in the Dewa Sanzan range, located in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. It stands at 1,677 meters and is known for its spiritual significance in Shinto and Buddhism. Pilgrims often hike its trails, which are lined with ancient trees and shrines, to seek enlightenment and purification.
The mountain is home to the Haguro-san Shrine, which features a five-story pagoda and various other religious structures. Each year, many visitors participate in the traditional Dewa Sanzan pilgrimage, which includes rituals and ceremonies that honor the mountain's spiritual heritage.
