Hadith Science
Hadith Science is the study of the sayings, actions, and approvals of the Prophet Muhammad. It aims to authenticate these reports, ensuring they are reliable sources of guidance for Muslims. Scholars analyze the chain of narrators, known as Isnad, and the content of the reports, called Matn, to determine their credibility.
The discipline is crucial for understanding Islamic law and teachings, as it helps distinguish between authentic and weak narrations. Various classifications exist, such as Sahih (authentic) and Da'if (weak), guiding scholars and followers in their religious practices and beliefs.
