HMS Dorsetshire
HMS Dorsetshire was a British heavy cruiser of the Royal Navy, launched in 1929. She was part of the County class and was designed for speed and firepower, featuring eight 8-inch guns and a top speed of 32 knots. The ship played a significant role during World War II, participating in various naval operations.
During the war, HMS Dorsetshire gained fame for her involvement in the sinking of the Bismarck in May 1941. She also served in the Indian Ocean, where she was ultimately sunk by Japanese aircraft in April 1942, marking the end of her service.
