HMS Dolphin
HMS Dolphin was a British submarine launched in 1960 and served in the Royal Navy until 1991. It was notable for being the first submarine to be designed specifically for training purposes, particularly for the Submarine Service.
The submarine was equipped with advanced technology for its time, including a unique training facility that allowed for realistic simulations. After its decommissioning, HMS Dolphin was preserved as a museum ship, providing visitors with insights into submarine operations and the history of the Royal Navy's underwater capabilities.
