H-II Transfer Vehicle 2
The H-II Transfer Vehicle 2 (HTV-2) is an uncrewed cargo spacecraft developed by JAXA, Japan's space agency. Launched in 2011, it is designed to transport supplies, equipment, and experiments to the International Space Station (ISS). HTV-2 is part of a series of missions aimed at supporting the ISS and enhancing international collaboration in space exploration.
HTV-2 can carry up to 6 tons of cargo and features a pressurized module for sensitive items and an unpressurized section for larger equipment. The spacecraft is launched atop an H-II rocket and is equipped with advanced navigation and docking systems to ensure safe arrival at the ISS.
