Hōjō Ujitsugi
Hōjō Ujitsugi was a Japanese daimyo during the late Sengoku period, known for his leadership of the Hōjō clan. He was born in 1538 and became the head of the clan after the death of his father, Hōjō Ujitsuna. Ujitsugi ruled over the Kanto region and was involved in various military campaigns to expand his territory.
Ujitsugi's reign was marked by internal strife and challenges from rival clans, including the Takeda clan and the Uesugi clan. He faced significant pressure during the Battle of Mikatagahara in 1564, which ultimately led to his downfall. Ujitsugi died in 1564, and his clan's power diminished shortly after.
