Håkon V
Håkon V was the King of Norway from 1299 until his death in 1319. He was the son of King Håkon IV and became the first king of Norway to rule from the capital, Oslo. His reign is noted for efforts to strengthen the monarchy and improve the country's governance.
During Håkon V's rule, he worked to consolidate power and reduce the influence of the nobility. He also focused on building infrastructure, including the construction of Akershus Fortress in Oslo, which served as a royal residence and military stronghold.
