Gyeongnam
Gyeongnam, short for Gyeongsangnam-do, is a province located in the southeastern part of South Korea. It is bordered by the Korea Strait to the south and is known for its diverse landscapes, including mountains, rivers, and coastal areas. The capital city of Gyeongnam is Changwon, which is also an important industrial center.
The province is rich in cultural heritage, featuring historical sites such as the Haeinsa Temple, home to the Tripitaka Koreana, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Gyeongnam is also famous for its agricultural products, particularly rice and fruits, contributing significantly to the local economy.
