Gunung Ciremai
Gunung Ciremai is the highest mountain in West Java, Indonesia, standing at 3,078 meters (10,091 feet) above sea level. It is part of the Ciremai National Park, which is known for its rich biodiversity, including various species of flora and fauna. The mountain is a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts, offering stunning views and diverse ecosystems.
The mountain has several hiking trails, with the most common route starting from the village of Cibunar. The trek typically takes about 6 to 8 hours to reach the summit, where visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Gunung Ciremai is also an active volcano, with its last eruption recorded in 1938.
