Guereza
The Guereza, also known as the black-and-white colobus monkey, is a species of primate found in the forests of central and western Africa. Characterized by its striking black fur and white facial markings, the Guereza has a long, flowing tail that aids in balance as it moves through the trees. These monkeys are primarily herbivorous, feeding on leaves, fruits, and flowers.
Guerezas are social animals, living in groups that can range from a few individuals to over twenty. They communicate through a variety of vocalizations and are known for their acrobatic skills, often leaping between branches with ease. Their unique adaptations make them well-suited for life in the treetops.
