Growlers
A growler is a container, typically made of glass, ceramic, or stainless steel, used to transport draft beer from a brewery or taproom. They usually hold 32 or 64 ounces of liquid and are designed to keep the beer fresh and carbonated. Many breweries sell their beer in growlers, allowing customers to enjoy fresh, local brews at home.
To use a growler, it is important to fill it properly to minimize air exposure, which can affect the beer's taste. Once filled, a growler should be sealed tightly and consumed within a few days for the best flavor. Some breweries also offer crowlers, which are similar but made from aluminum cans.
