Group B Rally
Group B Rally was a category of rally racing that took place from 1982 to 1986. It featured highly modified cars that were capable of incredible speeds and performance on various terrains. The regulations allowed manufacturers to create powerful vehicles, leading to innovations in automotive technology.
The popularity of Group B Rally grew rapidly, but so did concerns over safety due to the extreme speeds and challenging conditions. Tragically, several fatal accidents occurred, prompting the FIA to cancel the category in 1986. Despite its short lifespan, Group B remains a legendary era in motorsport history.
