Grimes County
Grimes County is located in the southeastern part of the state of Texas. It was established in 1846 and is named after James Grimes, a governor of the Iowa Territory. The county seat is Anderson, which is known for its historical significance and charming small-town atmosphere.
The county covers an area of approximately 1,100 square miles and features a mix of rural landscapes, forests, and waterways.
