Greylag Goose
The Greylag Goose is a large waterfowl species native to Europe and Asia. It has a distinctive grayish-brown body, a pinkish-orange bill, and a white patch on its tail. These geese are often found in wetlands, lakes, and fields, where they graze on grasses and grains.
Greylag Geese are known for their migratory behavior, traveling long distances between breeding and wintering grounds. They are social birds, often seen in flocks, and are the ancestors of many domestic goose breeds. Their vocalizations include honking sounds, which are used for communication within the group.
