Gregory Chamitoff
Gregory Chamitoff is an American astronaut and engineer who was born on August 6, 1962. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of California, San Diego and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California. Chamitoff was selected as a NASA astronaut in 1999 and has participated in two spaceflights.
During his career, Chamitoff served on the International Space Station (ISS) and conducted various scientific experiments. He completed a long-duration mission aboard the ISS, where he contributed to research in fields such as biology and materials science. Chamitoff has logged over 196 days in space.
