Gregg Berhalter is an American soccer coach and former player, known for his role as the head coach of the United States Men's National Soccer Team (USMNT). He played as a defender and had a professional career that included stints in Major League Soccer (MLS) and overseas in the Netherlands and Germany. Berhalter began his coaching career after retiring as a player, initially working with the LA Galaxy and later leading Columbus Crew SC in MLS.
