Greg Louganis
Greg Louganis is a retired American diver, widely regarded as one of the greatest divers in the history of the sport. He was born on January 29, 1960, in San Diego, California. Louganis won four Olympic gold medals, two in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and two in the 1988 Seoul Olympics, competing in both the springboard and platform events.
In addition to his Olympic success, Louganis set numerous world records and won multiple national championships. He is also known for his advocacy work related to HIV/AIDS awareness, as he publicly disclosed his HIV-positive status in 1995, helping to reduce stigma surrounding the condition.
