Greeting to the Sun
Greeting to the Sun is a large solar-powered public art installation located in Zadar, Croatia. Designed by architect Nikola Bašić, it consists of a circular platform made of glass panels that capture sunlight during the day and create a colorful light display at night.
The installation is situated near the Sea Organ, another of Bašić's creations, and serves as a tribute to the sun. It measures 22 meters in diameter and features 300 multi-colored LED lights that illuminate in various patterns, enhancing the beauty of the surrounding waterfront area.
