The Greenhouse Effect is a natural process that warms the Earth's surface. When the Sun's energy reaches the Earth, some of it is reflected back to space and the rest is absorbed, warming the planet. Greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane trap some of this heat, preventing it from escaping back into space.
However, human activities, such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation, have increased the concentration of these gases in the atmosphere. This enhanced Greenhouse Effect leads to global warming and climate change, causing severe impacts on ecosystems and weather patterns worldwide.
