Greek Football League
The Greek Football League, officially known as the Super League Greece, is the top professional football division in Greece. Established in 1959, it features 14 teams competing annually for the championship title. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Football League, the second tier of Greek football.
The season typically runs from August to May, with each team playing 26 matches. The team with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion. The league is known for its passionate fan base and historic clubs like Olympiacos, PAOK, and AEK Athens.
