Greek Education System
The Greek education system is divided into several levels: primary, secondary, and higher education. Primary education lasts for six years, followed by three years of lower secondary education. Students then have the option to attend upper secondary schools, which can be general or vocational, for another three years.
Higher education in Greece is provided by universities and technological educational institutes. Admission to these institutions is based on national exams taken at the end of upper secondary education. The system emphasizes both academic and vocational training, aiming to prepare students for various career paths and further studies.
