Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) is a Polish non-profit organization founded in 1993 by Jerzy Owsiak. Its primary mission is to provide medical equipment to hospitals and improve healthcare for children and the elderly in Poland. The organization is well-known for its annual fundraising event, which features concerts, auctions, and various activities across the country.
Each year, the WOŚP organizes a grand finale event in January, attracting thousands of volunteers and participants. The funds raised are used to purchase essential medical devices, such as defibrillators and ultrasound machines, ensuring that healthcare facilities have the necessary tools to provide quality care.
