Great Condé
The "Great Condé," or Louis II de Bourbon, Prince de Condé, was a prominent French military leader during the 17th century. Born in 1621, he played a significant role in the Fronde, a series of civil wars in France. Known for his strategic brilliance, Condé led royal forces against various factions, earning a reputation as one of the greatest generals of his time.
Condé's military career included notable victories in battles such as Rocroi and Nordlingen. His contributions to the Thirty Years' War and his influence in French politics made him a key figure in shaping the military landscape of Europe. He died in 1686, leaving a lasting legacy.
