Gravity Drain
A gravity drain is a system that uses the force of gravity to move liquids from one location to another, typically from a higher elevation to a lower one. This method is commonly used in plumbing, drainage systems, and wastewater management to efficiently transport water or other fluids without the need for pumps.
In a gravity drain setup, pipes are sloped downward to facilitate the flow of liquid. The design relies on the natural pull of Earth's gravity to ensure that the liquid flows smoothly, reducing the risk of blockages and minimizing energy costs associated with mechanical pumping systems.
