Gravitational Singularity
A gravitational singularity is a point in space where gravitational forces are so intense that spacetime curves infinitely. This phenomenon typically occurs at the center of a black hole, where the laws of physics as we know them break down. At this point, matter is thought to be compressed to an infinitely small volume, leading to infinite density.
In a singularity, the usual concepts of time and space cease to function normally. Theories such as general relativity predict the existence of singularities, but they also challenge our understanding of the universe. Scientists continue to study these mysterious regions to better understand their implications for cosmology and the nature of black holes.
