Grant MacEwan
Grant MacEwan was a prominent Canadian politician, author, and educator, born on April 12, 1902, in Calgary, Alberta. He served as the 10th Premier of Alberta from 1965 to 1966 and was a member of the Progressive Conservative Party. MacEwan was known for his contributions to agriculture and education, advocating for rural development and community engagement.
In addition to his political career, MacEwan was a prolific writer, publishing numerous books on Alberta's history and culture. He was also a respected educator, serving as a professor and later as the chancellor of Grant MacEwan University, which was named in his honor.
