Grand Prince Volodymyr
Grand Prince Volodymyr, also known as Volodymyr the Great, was a ruler of the Kievan Rus' from 980 to 1015. He is best known for his role in the Christianization of the region, which significantly influenced the culture and development of Ukraine and Russia. Volodymyr adopted Christianity as the state religion, leading to the establishment of the Eastern Orthodox Church in the area.
