Grand Duke Friedrich Franz III
Grand Duke Friedrich Franz III was a prominent figure in the history of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, a grand duchy in northern Germany. Born on March 19, 1851, he became the Grand Duke in 1897 after the death of his father, Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II. His reign lasted until 1918, during which he focused on modernizing the region and improving infrastructure.
