Graffiti Highway
Graffiti Highway is an abandoned stretch of road located in Centralia, Pennsylvania. Once a bustling route, it fell into disrepair after a coal mine fire ignited beneath the town in 1962, leading to the evacuation of residents. Over the years, the highway became a canvas for street artists, covered in colorful graffiti and murals.
Today, Graffiti Highway attracts visitors and urban explorers who come to see the vibrant artwork and the remnants of the ghost town. While the area is technically closed to the public, it remains a popular spot for photography and a symbol of the town's haunting history related to the Centralia mine fire.
