Graduate Management Admission Council
The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is a non-profit organization that focuses on advancing business education. Founded in 1953, it is best known for creating the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), a standardized exam used by many graduate business schools to assess applicants' readiness for advanced study in business and management.
GMAC also provides research, data, and resources to support business schools and prospective students. The council aims to improve the quality of business education globally and offers various services, including the Executive Assessment and the Business School Admissions Guide, to help schools and candidates navigate the admissions process.
