Grade 1
Grade 1 is the first year of formal education in many school systems, typically for children around six years old. In this grade, students build foundational skills in subjects like reading, writing, and math. They learn to recognize letters, form simple sentences, and perform basic addition and subtraction.
In addition to academics, Grade 1 emphasizes social skills and teamwork. Children participate in group activities and learn to share and cooperate with their peers. This year is crucial for developing a love for learning and preparing students for more advanced concepts in subsequent grades.
