Governor of Idaho
The Governor of Idaho is the head of the state government and is responsible for enforcing state laws, overseeing the executive branch, and managing the state's budget. The governor also has the power to veto legislation, appoint state officials, and represent Idaho in various capacities.
The current governor, Brad Little, took office in January 2019. The governor serves a four-year term and can be re-elected for one additional term. The position is based in the state capital, Boise, where the governor's office is located.
