Government of Kosovo
The Government of Kosovo operates as a parliamentary republic, established after Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008. It consists of three branches: the executive, legislative, and judicial. The President serves as the head of state, while the Prime Minister leads the government.
The Assembly of Kosovo is the legislative body, responsible for making laws and overseeing the government. Kosovo's legal system is based on European standards, and the country is recognized by over 100 nations, although it still faces challenges regarding international recognition and relations with Serbia.
