Gorilla Tracking
Gorilla tracking is an adventure activity that allows visitors to observe wild gorillas in their natural habitat. This experience typically takes place in national parks, such as Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda or Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Guided by trained rangers, participants trek through dense forests to locate and spend time with these magnificent animals.
The tracking process involves hiking through challenging terrain, often at high altitudes. Once a gorilla group is found, visitors can watch them interact, feed, and play for a limited time, usually one hour. This activity promotes wildlife conservation and supports local communities through eco-tourism.
