Gordon Parks Jr.
Gordon Parks Jr. was an American filmmaker and photographer, born in 1941. He was the son of the renowned photographer and filmmaker Gordon Parks, who was known for his work in documenting social issues and African American life. Gordon Jr. followed in his father's footsteps, contributing to the arts through his own creative projects.
He is best known for directing the film Super Fly in 1972, which became a significant work in the blaxploitation genre. Parks Jr. also worked on various television projects and documentaries, showcasing his talent and passion for storytelling until his untimely death in 1979.
