Gordie Howe
Gordie Howe was a professional ice hockey player from Canada, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. Born on March 31, 1928, in Floral, Saskatchewan, he played the majority of his career with the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL. Howe was known for his exceptional scoring ability, physical play, and sportsmanship, earning him the nickname "Mr. Hockey."
Throughout his career, Howe won four Stanley Cups and was a 21-time NHL All-Star. He also received numerous awards, including the Hart Trophy as the league's most valuable player. Howe's influence on the game extended beyond his playing days, as he remained involved in hockey until his later years. He passed away on June 10, 2016.
